Register at Denver’s Union Station at 6:15am, Ride the Ski Train in and then hook up with your athlete/ski guide at the Train Unload at 9:30am and then enjoy the day on the hill.

Grab hors d’ouevres and cocktails at Sunspot around 2:30pm and then head back to the train by 4pm.

Wonderful way to meet these athletes and support the US Ski & Snowboard Team!  Enjoy a scenic round trip train ride thru the continental divide and make some new ski partners.

We are getting many calls for help from home owners needing to care for their units.  I wanted to get our general information on service contracts out there.

Beaver Village Management was specifically formed by home owner demand in 1989 to provide an alternative competitve rental program in the Winter Park/Fraser Valley.  We are a full service resort management company focusing on the following aspects of resort management: *Condominium Rentals *Association Management *Customized Service Contracts.  Our contract and services are structured for the optimum care of your unit to ensure you of satisfied renters.

BVM is supported by a full service housekeeping/laundry department plus a maintenance deparment with a 24 hour “on call” response.  Maintenance is a 24/7 deparment located at the lodge.  “On-call” personnel live on-site!

Times sure are changing – in that, I am seeing more demand for family reunion events in the summer!  Our summers here in Winter Park are just wonderful – cool mornings and warm days – perfect for all the activities: hiking, mountain biking, roller blading, horse back riding, fishing, alpine slide runs, miniature golf, as well as top notch championship golf courses too.  I am encouraged with the call for family reunions – the family is not dead!  And Winter Park is a wonderful place to celebrate it.  So bring the baby boomers, the gen-exers and the millenials and get to know each other again!

Spring is trying to show it’s beautiful face here in the Valley!  Cold mornings quickly pass way to beautifully warm spring skiing during the day.  We have released our nightly minimums to welcome even just a quick one night stay!  The Beaver Village Lodge is perfect for a 1 night stay: prices include a nice breakfast buffet – open at 7am!

We are excited about our new luxury log homes for rent – they are large duplexes with 3 bedrooms, granite countertops, stainless steele appliances offering about 2150 square feet!  It comes with 4 bathrooms and a party of up to 11 people can enjoy the classic log structure of this tri-level duplex home.  Great location – only 1 block from downtown Winter Park.

The 33^rd  Annual Wells Fargo Bank Cup was hosted this weekend by the Winter Park Resort.  Having one of the largest cash purses on the disabled racing circuit was one of the draws to this competition event by the best male & female disabled racers in the world!  A great weekend of skiing to benefit the National Sports Center for the Disabled whose commitment to adults and children with disabilities is one of a kind.  This weekend, Feb 29 – Mar 2 offered three different races for all ability levels and the Bank Cup Bash which hosted live music, ice carving demonstration, silent auction and fireworks closing the evening.  Beaver Village Lodge is proud to host many of the disabled athletes as well as some of the generous sponsors of the event.  Make plans to join us next year for this exciting event!
